LG has launched the upgraded version of LG G6 flagship, G6+ which has only 6GB RAM, 128GB storage Ezra from the original LG G6. Also, the B&O sound technology with three new Colors introduced.

After the long waiting, OnePlus has unveiled its new flagship smartphone for 2017 – OnePlus 5. The smartphone is coming with Snapdragon 821 Chipset under the hood, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The display panel used is same as that of OnePlus 3T. The dual rear camera contains one lens to capture an image while other works as telephoto optical Zooming lens up to 2x, says OEM. The front facing camera is configured to 16MP. However, the device costs around $479 – $539, seems the OnePlus flagships are getting away from being budget-friendly unlike. OnePlus 3T and earlier.

WhatsApp to support Android Gingerbread till 2020

Last year and earlier this year, we have heard several news reports that the WhatsApp is going to stop supporting older Android version and Blackberry OS due to compatibility issues. Many users have then upgraded to newer Android running smartphones and Blackberry users left too (some).

Now, the WhatsApp had officially announced that they will provide updates and support for the devices which are running Android Operating System older than 2.3.7 Gingerbread until 2020 only. After that, the users have got to change their phone or not trying to use WhatsApp anymore.

Bixby Voice commands Beta released

Samsung users from the US are now getting Samsung Bixby Voice for the AI assistant. Till now, there was only text commands a and other means to interact with the app. With the new update that has rolled out for Bixby beta users, users can now use voice commands to make things happen through Bixby AI.

Android O suspected name got revealed

Some developers had found that the Android O internal source codes are using a shortcode “OC” which must be standing for the short form of Oatmeal Cookie. This would be the official name of Android O, but we think it must be an internal name. So let’s expect an “Oreo” flavored Android.

This week was really exciting. OnePlus 5 is here to conquer the smartphone market. Overall, the week 25 was a very good week for the tech world. Let’s expect something more in the next week.
