Weekly roundup: Highlights of Week 28

Last week was an awesome one. It was a week of surprises. We have seen the debut of many devices and saw some fantastic leak about the upcoming devices. In addition to that, We’ve exclusively leaked the upcoming MIUI 9’s features. LG surprisingly launched Q6 series as a sibling for the G6.

Overall, the week 28 was an interesting one. Now, let’s discuss the highlights of last week. Check them out here:

  1. Samsung to launch Galaxy Note 8 by September this year 

    Samsung is highly likely to launch their forthcoming flagship phablet smartphone in Note series, Galaxy Note 8 by this year. Nw, the latest leak coming from the company’s homeland, South Korea confirms that the Samsung will launch the smartphone by September 2017m, which means we are only about a couple of months back from the official unpack event date.  The smartphone must be launching with the top tier specs to be made available in the market including Samsung’ own Infinity display.

  2. Asus Zenfone AR launched in India as a Flipkart exclusive device 

    In a press event in New Delhi, Asus India launched the new Zenfone AR smartphone in the country. Asus on Thursday announced the launch of Zenfone AR in India as a Flipkart exclusive device. To recall, Asus launched this device globally at CES 2017 and it is a tango enabled Google Daydream ready device. It is the first smartphone with 8GB of RAM.

  3. Exclusive: Leaked screenshots of MIUI 9 Alpha build reveals new UI changes and Split screen feature

    Now, from our exclusive source, We got some screenshots of a Redmi 4X which is running MIUI 8.7.7.6 Alpha build. It is the alpha build of the upcoming MIUI 9. The leaked screenshots reveal the new design changes and the new features in the MIUI 9. However, it is still in the premature stage and contains a lot of bugs as well.

  4. #RIP: Nextbit to drop the support for Robin smartphones by the end of this month

    Finally, they are ending the support for the Nextbit Robin smartphone. If you don’t remember, Robin was a cloud-centric smartphone from Nextbit. It had a really great design and it was running on the basis of cloud storage. Everything was synced with the cloud storage. Personally saying, it was one of my most favorite design ever.

  5. Huawei launches KFC Special edition Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus smartphone in China

    The world’s biggest fast food chain KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) turns 30 years old this year. So as a respect to the world’s one of the biggest food revolution, Huawei has launched a new special edition smartphone. Huawei in China launched the KFC edition of Enjoy 7 Plus smartphone.

  6. Google Pixel XL 2 leaked wild in renders with 18:9 ratio display

    Tons of leaks and rumors have been circulating among netizens from last several months regarding the upcoming MadebyGoogle smartphone from Google to the flagship lineup in Android market. Google was actually reported to be working on two smartphones, one with a smaller screen and other with the larger display just like they launched first generation devices in Pixel series, Pixel and Pixel XL back in 2016. The new smartphones are supposed to be named as Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 (or Pixel 2 XL). The second generation Pixel XL smartphone has now shown up in several leaks, which demonstrate the smartphone in wild. While we recall, the smartphone was internally codenamed as “taimen” by Google while its R&D processes were going on back then.

    • Q6 is a nice device if you want to settle down with a midrange device with great build quality. If you have a good budget, try any other models. 🙂

  2. Zenfone AR is a great device. But I guess the pricing is too high. Who gonna buy 50K Phone in India? They should lower the price. I think they will reduce the price after few months or weeks. Let’s wait for that.
