Vivo Y81 in India gets a flat price cut of Rs. 1,000

Vivo launched the company’s budget-range smartphone from the Y-series with a notch on the display a couple of months ago, becoming one of the most affordable smartphones with a notch – Vivo Y81. The smartphone comes with a decent hardware on the board with an affordable price tag. Now, the company announces the at the Vivo Y81 is getting a permanent price slash of Rs. 1,000 in India, which makes it more affordable.

The initial price tag announced for the smartphone was Rs. 12,990 for India. Now with the permanent price cut, the device will be available at Rs. 11,990 with no compromise in features. The price cut will be effective for all the variants and current stock throughout the country. With a lower price tag, the smartphones become a powerful competitor to the many other midrange smartphones. Plus, the smartphones stands a step ahead with its notch.

Vivo Y81 launched in India back in June and the price cut comes within two months of launch. The smartphone comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display, powered with MediaTek’s Helio P22 Chipset. The base variant of the smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM, coupled with 32GB internal shared storage. Laos, the main camera module is of a 13MP sensor along with a 5MP selfie snapper. The smartphone is boosted with a 3,260mAh battery pack and runs Android Oreo with ColorOS on the top.
