Finally, the most awaited update by the Xiaomi smartphone users this year, MIUI 10 for Redmi Note 5 Pro is here. The Chines e smartphone manufacturer has started to roll out the latest update for their smartphone users which includes the latest skin, MIUI 10, ut with Android Oreo.
The company has been testing the newest version across the global variants and fixed previous bugs through several updates. With the latest official rollout, every Redmi Note 5 Pro users will be able to get the new version of the Operating System and use it normally. No beta registration required, no manual fashing needed. The updates are brought OTA. The company has not started testing the MIUI 10 with Android 9 Pie, so the update only brings the Android 8.1 Oreo to the smartphones. As soon as they finish testing with the Pie version, the updates are expected to roll out imminently. However, the users will be able to install the pre-release beta version for the testing purpose.
The new OS version includes an improved, AI-powered portrait mode for pitch-perfect Bokeh effect on camera photography. It also brings some change to the Audio output quality, as per the changelog. A new set of gestures, battery improvements, etc. are also some noticeable changes.
