Smartron t.phone P launched in India at Rs. 7,999

Indian smartphone manufacturer smartron has today launched their latest budget-oriented entry-level smartphone in India – Smartron t.phone P. the device comes at an affordable price tag of Rs. 7,999 and packs quiet, decent hardware components onboard.

Smartron t.phone P features a generic IPS LC HD (720×1280) display sized at 5.2-inches. The smartphone is powered with Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC clocked at 1.4GHz. As per the spec sheet, the device carries 3GB of RAM onboard, paired with 32GB of internal storage space. The inbuilt storage capacity can be increased using microSD cards up to 128GB. The company also provides a free 1TB clo9ud storage facility for its users, named t.cloud. The smartphone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat onboard as of now, expected to get an upgrade to latest Android oreo operating system later.

One of the main highlights of the device is its 5,000mAh humongous battery pack inside the metal cover. The company says it could be standalone up to two days in normal usage. The smartphone seems to be a good choice for those who are interested in buying entry-level smartphones with better battery backup. The smartphone also sports a 13MP rear camera, coupled with a 5 Megapixel sensor on the front. The Hyderabad (India) based company has announced that they will start selling the device from January 17th 12 PM onwards, exclusively through Flipkart.
