Samsung launches Galaxy Fit, Galaxy Fit e in India with fitness tracking and heartbeat monitoring

The leading technology giant Samsung launched its two models of smart wearables in India. The Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit e are Samsung’s contribution to the wearable tech community in the country.  Samsung promotes both of the fitness bands with a tagline “complement the personal wellness journey.” Both of them come with fitness tracking, heartbeat monitoring, activity tracking, and more. Not only these, but the bands also weigh just 23 grams each, that makes them ultra-light.

Additionally, it has a dual clock screen as well, which lets you keep in track with a new time-zone too.  The higher variant, Galaxy Fit is priced at Rs. 9,990 in the country, whereas the budget variant Galaxy Fit e costs just Rs. 2,590 in the market. The Galaxy Fit comes in Black and Silver color options. The Galaxy Fit e will be available in Black,  White, and Yellow color variants. Both of the variants are available via Flipkart, Myntra, and the Samsung Online Shop.

It comes with a load of sensors to track your activities such as walking, running, and biking, swimming, etc. The included sensors are an accelerometer, gyroscope, and heart rate monitor. The Samsung Galaxy Fit runs FreeRTOS and comes with 2MB RAM as well as 32MB ROM. You can pair this device with your Samsung Health app.
