Oxygen OS 3.5.9 rolling out to Oneplus 2, with fix for a bug

Oneplus 2 made its venture an year ago. The expectations for Android 7.0 Nougat has shut down by the new release of Oxygen OS 3.5.9 update. The fact is that the new update runs smoother on the device. The hardware of the phone may not be supported for Android 7.0 Nougat. Oneplus also declared that they will discontinue support for Oneplus X and Oneplus 2 devices. The sense is that there will not be a Nougat Special treat on Oneplus 2 and Oneplus X devices.

But they are not giving up the loyalty. It looks like Oneplus is going to improve the phone within the current branch. The optimizations will be taken place in the future on removing the annoying bugs. As a first step, the new Oxygen OS 3.5.9 update brings a bug fix that caused the device from using VoLTE. This will be quick heal for those with Oneplus 2 device as this bug was much quietly complained.

However, the Oxygen OS 3.5.9 is still based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Nothing can be expected on the OS platform so. The Oneplus 2 was facing a bug on VoLTE appeared from Oxygen OS 3.5.5 update. From this build till todays update, the VoLTE option was disappeared from the phone. Also wasn’t addressed on the previous update Oxygen OS 3.5.8. In this new update, this bug is fixed as Oneplus promised.
