HMD Global released the Nokia X6 mid-range smartphone with display notch back in May. During the launch, the company also announced the imminent launch of devices on more markets. Ahead of the release in India, the smartphone just spotted on Nokia India website. The phone is listed under the support section. There is also a PDF user manual is provided on the same page. The new listing of the device clearly hints to an imminent launch in the country.
Concerning the official features, the Nokia X6 by HMD Global is a mid-level device that is capable to compete against Xiaomi’s and Honor’s midrange smartphones. The smartphone comes with a 5.8-inch display, having an aspect ratio of 19:9. There is a notch at the top chin for the sensors. The Nokia X6 is powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 Octa-core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz. The device comes in two memory variants, 4GB and 6GB. The storage space is available up to 64GB, that is expandable up to 256GB via SD slot. The device will be shipped with Stock Android OS, version 8.1 Oreo on board.
The main camera phase equips dual-lens, with 16MP major one, pairing a 5MP secondary sensor. The video shooting mode also supports EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). The front-facing selfie camera is of 16MP with Fixed Focus. The non-removable 3,060mAh battery pack can be juiced up with Quick Charge 3.0.
On the connectivity side, the company provides the smartphone with dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS GLONASS/BDS, and a USB Type-C port. The 3.5mm headphone jack is retained. The smartphone also comes with a set of supportive sensors including a fingerprint scanner, gyroscope, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. The company has not yet announced the official launch date for the smartphone in India. Anyways, we could expect a price tag of around Rs. 19,999.
