As you know, HTC is one of the most underrated smartphone brands. They launch some cool set of devices, but they won’t sell as expected in the market. However, still the company has hops in the mobile industry, that’s why they are manufacturing the next model in the U family – the HTC U12. The design renders of the smartphone has just surfaced online and it reveals some information about the device.
The new render of the upcoming HTC U12, revealed by SuggestPhone gives a clear idea about the appearance of the device. According to the render image, the device will feature a fullview display, possibly a 18:9 ratio screen. We have seen some rumors about the device which claimed that it will come with the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. SuggestPhone also claims that the company will ditch the fingerprint scanner in favour of iris scanner.
Supporting the claims, we cannot spot a physical fingerprint scanner on the front panel, it could be either on the back panel or not included. In the render, the volume rockers and lock button can be seen on the left of the device, while the charging port is on the bottom. The 3.5mm headphone jack might be absent much like other recent HTC phones. Some rumors also claim that the device will feature a dual camera system on the front and back sides. However, HTC is expected to launch the smartphone in March.
