Honor, the Chinese subbrand from the world’s second largest Android smartphone manufacturer Huawei, has been tipped to be planning a new midrange smartphone launch in India for October. Finally, the company started sending press invitations within the country, mentioning the launch date set for October 16. The smartphones from Honor’s lineup are only meant for online selling, so is Honor 8X. The smartphone has been officially confirmed to be an Amazon Exclusive.
The smartphone is set to launch in India on 16th October, in an event to be held at New Delhi. The smartphone is to come with a dual rear camera, a notch at the front panel and powerful hardware specifications, similar to the Huawei Nova 3i or Honor 9N.
Honor 8X Specifications
Honor 8X is a midrange smartphone with value-for-money hardware specifications on the board. The device is coming with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ TFT display, sporting a small notch at the top edge of the screen. The core hardware side will be led by the HiIlicon Kirin 710 Chipset and at least 4 gigs of RAM. There must be also the higher variant with 6GB memory option.
The dual rear camera setup accompanies a 20MP main image capturing sensor, along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front is a 16MP sensor. Plus, the battery pack with 37502mAh capacity will be enough for such a device. All the other hardware specs including the network capabilities will be of similar to other Honor smartphones in the segment.
Honor 8X price
Honor India has not yet responded regarding the official price tags of the smartphone. However, according to some sources, the device is anticipated to carry the price tag of Rs. 19,999 for the base variant with the maximum price for the toppers variant at Rs, 22,999. The Indian pricing, comparatively, is way higher than that of the Chinese pricing list.
