ASUS India head recently announced that the company is currently working on the Android Pie update for the company’s Android One midrange smartphone ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1. The smartphone currently runs Android Oreo OS on the board with the stock UI on the smartphones across the country. The new update is likely to hit the devices very soon.
According to the XDA Developers, many ported ROMs for the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 have supported the EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) right in the camera and turn on or off manually without root permission. Meanwhile, the company is planning an official addition of EIS feature to the smartphone which could avoid shakes while taking photographs or shooting videos to an extent. As the Android 9.0 Pie for Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 is under the testing stage, we can expect an open beta program soon. There is no hint regarding the official rollout date for Android Pie to the smartphone, however, it could be around mid-November.
ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 launched in India around months ago with mid-tier hardware specifications on board. The smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 636 Chipset along with 4GB/6GB RAM. You can buy the smartphone from Flipkart starting at Rs. 12,999 for 4GB variant.
