Google Home and Home Mini devices launched in India

Today in a press event, Google India announced the launch of Google Home devices in India. This is the first time; Google Home devices are debuting in India. The company initially brought Google Home and Home Mini devices only. For some reasons, they didn’t include the Max variant of the Google Home in the Indian product catalogue. These two models will be available exclusively at Flipkart.

The company followed the same tactics of Amazon Echo series in India. It reflects in the pricing too. Google India announced the Google Home for INR 9999 ($153) and the smaller Google Home Mini at INR 4999 ($69), which is nearly similar to the Amazon Echo devices. The devices will be Flipkart exclusive in India and will be available through some offline retailers as well. It includes Croma stores, Bajaj Electronics and Reliance Digital shops. You can also grab one from Google exclusive outlets.
