Nubia Z18 Mini launched with Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM

ZTE’s latest update in the Nubia-lineup, Nubia Z18 Mini just arrived in China with promising hardware specifications onboard. The smartphone comes with a curved glass panel on the rear with transition textures, along with the aluminium metal frame o the edges with colouravWhite, Black, Light Blue, Purple and Pink. Akin to the smartphone design trend these days, the first device in the Nubia Z18 series sports a display with ana spect ratio of 18:9, amidst reduced bezels.

ZTE Nubia Z18 Mini smartphone is featured with a 5.7-inch FullHD+ display, powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 Chipset under the hood. The smartphone comes with two storage space variants – 64GB and 128GB, both coming 6GB of RAM. Among the dual-lens camera setup on the rear panel, the second one is capable of shooting closer snaps by using its 2X Optical Zooming capability, which also can make the portrait mode images better. The primary sensor has a 24MP resolution, having an aperture of f/1.7 and the telephoto lens combines a 5 Megapixel sensor. Chinese manufacturer offers a selfie camera of 8M with 80-degree width and f/2.0 aperture.

Nowadays, it seems the in-built Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning combo capability in a smartphone also become another selling point for the smartphone manufacturers, apart from the characteristics of the design and other hardware aspects. So, the ZTE also added a dedicated AI-button to the Nubia Z18 Mini smartphone which triggers an AI System named Neosmart AI. Additionally, the Android Oreo running device has a face unlocking feature, apart from the traditional fingerprint scanner.

ZTE announced the smartphone will be made available publicly from April 18, pricing tarts at CNY 1,799 for 64GB variant and CNY 2,099 for 128GB variant.
