Xiaomi’s subcategory for cheaper flagship devices, Pocophone’s POCO F1 has launched several weeks ago is hitting record sales online in many countries. The parent company also promised timely updates to the users while releasing the smartphone worldwide. Ahead of the forthcoming Android update, the smartphone just found in the Geeknbench running Android 9.0 Pie on the board.
The budget-focused flagship-level smartphone comes with Android 8 Oreo with PocoUI (MIUI for POCO) on the top. The same system software will be upgraded o the latest version of Android soon, reports say. The speculation also got stronger when the Poco F1 spotted online in the benchmarking platform, Geekbench with Android 9 Pie Operating System. Also, the single core score seems to have elevated slightly in the new Operating System, while the multi-core performance went down a little maybe the issue with Beta). This shows that the smartphone does not exhibit a significant amount of change in the device overall performance even after the updation.
There is no word from the company officials regarding the Android 9 Pie update rollout date for the Poco F1. So, the users might need to wait for a little longer to get the stable update. Before that, the Beta program will begin as most of the Xiaomi products do.
