Chinese brand Xiaomi is working on another smartphone in Mi 8 series with a lower hardware power, planning to launch this coming week. The company CEO today has tweeted on the twitter about their forthcoming Mi 8 series device, which is obviously Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition, along with the newest teaser video. It also hints to the design aspect of the smartphone.
From the teaser video, the smartphone’s rear panel is visible clearly with a glass back body. Like other flagship level smartphones in the Mi 8 lineup, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Editon smartphone also has a glass panel with metal frames. The smartphone will also come in various color gradient options including Blue-purple, gold twilight, etc. The rear panel also equips dual-cam sensors and a fingerprint scanner at the middle.

Xiaomi will make the debut of budget smartphone XIaomi Mi 8 Youth Edition on 19th September with great hardware specs. The smartphone would arrive with a Snapdragon 710 chipset under the hood along with 6GB RAM. It also becomes the first Snapdragon 710 smartphone by Xiaomi. You could also get the device starting below US$300 across various countries.
