First major update for Honor 10 brings EIS and Party-Mode

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor today started rolling out the first major OTA (Over-the-Air) update for the company’s flagship smartphone Honor 10. The latest update does not upgrade the entire Operating System but comes with a lot of features skinned over the Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI).

One of the major upgrades of the update is the addition of EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization). You can turn on the feature to stabilize the videos, in order to avoid unnecessary shaking while recording video. Even though it is not as perfect as the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), it could possibly bring impressive video shake reducing. You can turn on or off the feature from the camera app after the OTA update.

Using this feature, you can play a song simultaneously on all the connected devices without delay. The host device, Honor 10, will control the entire device playback. It is like connecting to multiple Bluetooth speakers.

The new OTA update is currently rolling out to the users from India. So if you are from a different region, you need to wait a little longer to let the update hit your country. Make sure your smartphone has enough charge and sufficent data balance before entering into the updating procedures.
