Coolpad Cool Play 6 Launched in India With Dual Rear Cameras at Rs. 14,999

The Chinese Smartphone Maker, Coolpad has now unveiled their latest flagship smartphone, the Coolpad Cool Play 6 in India which is been priced at Rs. 14,999. The device has officially launched at an event in Dubai, the Cool Play was first launched for China back in May this year, the company now released the device customised for their Indian Users. The Coolpad is another manufacturer that sells their devices in the Mid-range segment where the popular Chinese smartphone brands like, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo has taken the crown.

Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes with some major features and specifications that mark up the device to be the flagship smartphone that is being launched as the ultimate gaming device from the manufacturer. The device has the metal unibody design much like most of the other Coolpad handsets Cool Play 6 also looks stunning.

The Cool Play 6 boasts a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display along with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz coupled with Adreno 510 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD. It features hybrid dual-SIM (Nano+Nano/microSD) support.

It runs on custom Cool UI 7 themed on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device has a mirror-coated Fingerprint Scanner on its back panel along with a dual camera setup, with the configuration of a 13MP+13MP camera with features PDAF, Aperture f/2.0, dual-tone, dual-LED Flash. It also supports HDR, slow video, mono photo, long exposure, panorama, and 4K Video Recording. For selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture.

The Coolpad Cool Play 6 has a 4000mAh battery, along with the connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB Type-C. The device has a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5 mm headset jack on its top.

The device priced at Rs 14,999 will be exclusively available on Amazon, sale scheduled to begin on September 4. It will come in Black and Gold color variants and is expected to compete against the mid-range smartphones like Moto G5 Plus, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4.
