Asus to launch Zenfone AR in the US

We were expecting the launch of Asus’s latest flagship smartphone Zenfone AR in the US by the end of June. But that didn’t happen. Because of some issues, the launch has been postponed. But now, it seems they are planning to launch it in the US very soon. Newly leaked flip covers of the Zenfone AR hints the arrival of the device in the US.

To recall, Asus launched this device globally at CES 2017 and it is a tango enabled Google Daydream ready device. It is the first smartphone with 8GB of RAM. It offers a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display carrying a 1440 x 2560 QHD display. It runs on a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with a 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.

The Asus Zenfone AR smartphone comes with a 3,300mAh battery and it is a DayDream ready smartphone. It supports  Tango capabilities as well. Also, it is the second smartphone in the market with Tango capabilities. It is already available in the UK and India. It costs Rs. 50,000 in India and is now available exclusively via Flipkart.
