We are all waiting for the big launch event of Mi Mix 2S by Xiaomi on March 27. But before that, the company is planning to release another smartphone model, Redmi 5 in India. The official unveiling of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has been scheduled for March 14. The same model is currently available only in China and Singapore only, now it is making its way to India.
Xiaomi today launched its new Mi TV 4A series in India. It released a 7 minute 38 second product video for the TVs. At the end of the video around 7 minute and 31 second mark it has teased a smartphone showing of only the side profile. That smartphone might be the upcoming Redmi 5. Still we don’t have any official information about this news. So we doubt that the company is keeping it as a surprise for us.
However, the Redmi 5 smartphone will come in the same Black, Light Blue, Gold and Rose Gold colors. It could start at Rs. 6999, same as the launch price of last year’s Redmi 4. Since we don’t have an official information, you should take this news as a rumor, not a confirmed news.
