Xiaomi Max reportedly to feature in-house ‘Rifle’ SoC

Xioami has recently becoming a powerful name among Mid-range devices as well as the High-End flagships. Recently launched Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3 Pro and the most affordable high-end specced device Mi5 had made it popular among Android Smartphone lovers. It was couple of weeks ago, the images and some specs of upcoming highly specified phablet device from Xiaomi named as Max leaked. The leaked images included front panel for the display, which has shown a physical Home button on. But the renders came later clears everything about the device. Now a leak came spotted on Weibo says something interesting about the Xiaomi Max. The earlier renders shows the device as having resemblance towards recently launched flagship device Mi5.

The leak says that the Xiaomi Mi Max will be powered with the Xiaomi’s very own in-house Chipset Rifle SoC, which is co-engineered with Datang corporation. Also it is reportedly says that it will be packed out with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on the board topped with MIUI 8.0 .

Now it is very hard to confirm about the power engine of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Max phablet. Some rumors says that it will be a high-end device featured with Snapdragon 820 SoC. Also, some leaks from GFXBench suggests that it is a mid-ranger, to be powered with Snapdragon 650. Alright, the current leaks correspondent to the Xiaomi Max suggesting about an alleged SoC, which Xiaomi is currently on working on.

It is also very confusion about the device’s name too. Most of the leaks and rumores had suggested about the device’s name as Xiaomi Max, while the GFXBench results listed the device in name of Xiaomi Mi Max. The real big phablet from Chinese manufacturer is expected to release soon, may be before June.
