Last week, we have reported about a teaser officially outed by the Vivo India, pointing towards a new device launch for September. Now, the company has officially responded about the forthcoming Vivo smartphone, named as Vivo V7+. The smartphone will be the successor to the V5 devices in V-series. The last device from Vivo was launched back in April – V5s (Read the Review).
The aforementioned device, Vivo V7+ has not been launched in any market so far yet, even in home country China. So, it is entirely new addition to the company’s smartphone line-ups. From the teaser tagline “GET READY TO CAPTURE CLEAR SHOT CLEAR MOMENT,” it is sure that the company is aiming towards a Camera-focused smartphone, especially selfie. The company says the device has a ‘revolutionary selfie camera.’ We have to wait and see what the Chinese giant has to outperform with the new device.
From the device image given in the teaser snap, it is evident that the company is riding a bezel-less smartphone to India, with just a small portion of borders on top and bottom only, makes it look similar to the Galaxy S8. There is no sign of conventional physical home button-cum-fingerprint scanner on front. Probably the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the rear portion, or is it to have the Vivo’s earlier-announced UnderDisplay ?
The previous smartphone Vivo V5s was a selfie-centric midrange smartphone. So let’s hope the new device would also be in the same category with a price listing below 25000 INR.

Yes. They have already teased the UnderDisplay Fingerprint scanner using Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic Biometric Technology. Still, we cannot make sure it would arrive with this specific device — just telling the possibility. We hope so đŸ™‚
