Samsung Galaxy S7 devices start receiving June Security patch updates

Samsung’s previously launched flagship smartphone Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are currently starts getting Android Security Patch from the month of June . The update already began in China and will gradually spread to other nations.

Samsung’s​last year’s flagship smartphones Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were launched with top tier specs, as their every flagship lineups come up. The specs included a 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 820 and a curved edge display for EDGE variants. Now the lineup has been upgraded by Galaxy S8 and S8+, as we know.

In case you don’t know, the security patch updates include bug fixes and Security feature updates for Android OS. Google usually releases Security Patch in every month, to be rolled out by respected OEMs and carriers. The new update will fix many hugs and security flaws in Android for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Apart from the mundane changelog, Samsung also included a performance upgrade and smoothness in running through the latest OTA rollout. After updating, the software build seems to be updated to G930W8VLS2BQF1for S7 and G935W8VLS2BQF1 for S7 Edge. Check if it did, if you have already updated to latest version. The update will keep your device from external attacks and bug threats.
