HTC releases a new firmware update to the U Ultra models.

HTC released a new firmware update for their U Ultra smartphone models. As per some sources, HTC is now rolling out the software version 1.62.708.1 to the HTC U Ultra devices globally. However, HTC hasn’t yet confirmed the availability of the software update for their devices.

According to a screenshot posted by a Twitter user, the update is now officially available for the devices. It brings the latest firmware build 1.62.708.1 to the devices. But till now, we don’t have any confirmation from the company. However, the change log suggests that the update contains some general improvements and enhancements only. So it is more like a bug fixing update.

Anyway, it is recommended to download and install all updates to ensure better efficiency and security of your device. This update might contain Android monthly security patches as well. The source says the update size is 600MB and it is recommended to connect to a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection. Since it is a big update package, it might have some other contents as well. So download it now.
