Real-life image of bezel-less Vivo NEX with pop-up camera appears in the teaser
As we reported earlier, the Chinese manufacturer Vivo has finally teased the real-life image of the forthcoming smartphone Vivo NEX through the company’s official Weibo handle. This is the first time the Chinese multinational smartphone company officially publishes the picture of Vivo APEX production model, which is now called as Vivo NEX.
We can clearly see the purely bezel-less design, just like we saw with the Vivo APEX concept smartphone the company showcased back in MWC 2018. The image also shows off the elevating front-facing-camera with a glass front cover. It is very appreciable that the Vivo just made the smartphone that justifies the concept model they showcased lately. Even the camera module design and its bezel thickness seem have gone much farther than the former. Even though the Lenovo disappointed us with a bezel-less gimmick, the Vivo, hopefully, is coming with the jaw-dropping design and technology underneath the hood.
The teaser image also shows water and dust surrounding the device. It certainly points towards a water-resistant as well as dustproof design aspect of the smartphone. We can expect the IP rating of usual IP68 for the smartphone, similar to other flagship smartphones. Under the hood, it would carry a Snapdragon 845 Chipset, paired with 8GB RAM. We are still expecting a half-screen fingerprint scanning technology with the device. Nevertheless, the company appears to bring it now or near soon.
The ultimate future-proof smartphone by the Vivo is officially set to get unveiled on this 12th, with more surprises. Stay tuned with AndroidHits to know more.
