New update for the OnePlus 3 and 3T devices bring new DND UI

OnePlus has released yet another build of the Oxygen OS from the open beta channel. The new update is currently rolling out to the OnePlus 3 and 3T devices globally in open beta. Now, the Oxugen OS beta version 27 is available for the OnePlus 3 smartphone and 18 for the OnePlus 3T. This update is a minor one and doesn’t contain any important changes or improvements.

However, this update brings a new user interface for the Do Not Disturb mode on the device. The new firmware brings some battery optimizations and improvements related to Smart Text Selection and General performance. The OnePlus and GMS applications have also been updated. In addition to these changes, the update contains the October month’s Android security patches as well. So it is important that you should download and install this update for the stable performance of your device.

As the last entry in the changelog, OnePlus listed ‘Other bug fixes and optimizations’, and that includes updates to language localization, fixes for the ‘extended screenshot’ option in some apps, Bluetooth improvements, camera gesture fixes and some memory optimizations. So if you own the OnePlus 3 series devices, you can download the update from the open beta. You might need to manually flash the update files for the smooth experience.
