Google Job searches are now available for India

Today in a press event in Delhi, Google India announced the launch of their job searching feature. Starting today, you will be able to find your desired job listing with Google search. It simply makes the job searching procedure much easier. It collects the data from major job listing websites and portals and shows it to the users. In that way, it saves your time to look at different websites.

The company has worked with many organizations including Aasaanjobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs, and Wisdomjobs to bring users the most comprehensive listing of jobs. So this feature works just like the portal which handles multiple site data. This move is a part of their plans to improve local listing and classifieds section.

It works for all platforms with the facility of Google search. You can use it on Android, iOS, desktop devices and any devices which support Google search. When the job hunter search for “jobs near me,” “jobs for freshers,” or similar job-related keywords, they will see a special module that can be expanded to a more immersive experience. Clicking on any job in this listing opens a summary of the position and its details.

Google India’s Vice President, Mr Rajan Anandan said that they had seen an improvement of 40% in the job seeking searches in their platform. He also claims that this number is always growing. So this is the best time for the company to launch such a platform to help the job seekers even better than before. This ultimately helps the job listing sites as well. Small job listing websites and local listing sites can’t come first in the search results, which affects the job seekers and the listing website. This new feature helps both the job seekers and the listing providers at the same time.
