Sony rolls out Android Marshmallow update for Xperia Z2,Z3,Z3 compact and Z2 Tablet in India on wednesday. These devices can now be updated to Android Marshmallow via a pc companion app or push notification announced by the company.
The new Android Marshmallow update will provide a lot of new features such as Now On Tap,Doze which reduces the power consumption when the phone is not in use,App Permissions that allows the user to have more control over their apps,the update also adds all new camera interface to switch between different modes and customize setting by simple gestures,it also has Xperia messaging with in app easy access to stickers and Direct Share to share recent activities with friends,recent contacts and app lists

It may take several days or even weeks for update to hit your devices,but you can also manually check for the update by navigating to the settings of your phone and then to the About phone menu.
