YouTube Go beta version released in Play Store

Youtube releases its first beta version of youtube go it is currently available in Google play store for Indian users, but there is no info about the publication of the stable version. We hope the official release will be soon hit the store. The app is currently in its beta phase those who have signed up for the beta version can have the early access for the app.The Youtube go app allows users save video and viewing offline and reduce data consumption.

The app lets users download the video in the low-quality mode for offline viewing and also will display the data consumed while streaming and downloading a  video, and Youtube Go is specially designed for the users from developing countries like India who are struggling with poor internet connectivity in the remote areas. The app is limiting the quality of the video to the extent that the users of the GO app are limited to 640p maximum settings

There are two app options available “basic” and “standard,” and neither of this allows users to watch the video in “720p” and “1080p”.In Youtube go the users have to settle for low quality if the user wants to stream at higher resolutions they have to switch to the Youtube app, The app description says “a brand new app to download, enjoy and share videos…bind data usage!”
