Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the company is getting ready o unveil their upcoming mid-range smartphone from Redmi Note series, the Redmi Note 5A in China by August 21st.
The company has been officially confirmed the existence of the smartphone through their official Weibo handle, teasing the date to August 21. As per the info that we have gathered from the teaser poster, the Redmi Not 5A will be launched by Lin Bin, Xiaomi Co-Founder, and current President, in an event to be held at Beijing.
While we recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A has been leaked to be launched with a 5.5 inch Full HD display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 So with 2GB RAM, meanwhile, its latter version Redmi 5A Prime/Pro would possibly be powered with an SD43 Chipset paired with 3 gigs of RAM. There is nothing many distinguishable features have been given to the device by comparing with the preceding Redmi 4A except in terms of physical measurements.
The smartphone will run android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with MIUI 9 on the top layer. As usual with the company’s Redmiseries smartphone, the Redmi Note 5 too will have a Hybrid SD+Dual SIM slot only ( NO dedicated Slot for SD Card while using SIM 2.
The Note 5A will sport 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, plus a 5MP front facing lens. The device will be boosted with 3000mAh battery pack under the shell. The smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, mounted with an IR blaster too.
