WhatsApp for Business is yet to be launched within no time. The latest updates in WABetaInfo provides information about WhatsApp’s support for Verified Business Accounts. The Verified accounts will bear a green tick mark beside the profile.
WhatsApp FAQ page refers about Verified Business Accounts as:
If you see a green badge next to a contact’s name, it means that WhatsApp has confirmed the phone number of this contact belongs to a business account.
The new update provides some fresh set of accessibility. Now WhatsApp supports setting working hours on business accounts. Also, there is a convenience feature that remains an “away” message if the receiver is unavailable to receive business calls. Business accounts can manage automatic messages on schedules.
The Business feature is limited to a small number of business accounts. When a business status changes, that is when a business account becomes verified by WhatsApp, the user will be known by yellow messages on chat, appear as encrypted codes for contact changes.
The latest WhatsApp Beta 2.17.285 added these additional Verified Business features and is now available for update. Have to conclude that, WhatsApp for business will be launched within few months. The release of WhatsApp for Business could be far enough to reach the level of Skype For Business from initial.

WhatsApp is down for me. WTF?
I don’t see an update. Let’s wait…
WhatsApp is becoming Facebook. Facebook is becoming Instagram. The Twitter smiles gently. hahahaha
