Verizon and T-Mobile release Android Nougat update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

US carriers Verizon and T-Mobile have just released the Android Nougat 7.0 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 devices. The official update is now rolling out to the Galaxy Tab S2 devices which are under these carriers.

The latest software version for the Galaxy Tab S2 is  NRD90M.T818VVRU1BQE1 and it is live in the update servers. You can download it right now from there on your devices. Along with the Android Nougat upgrade, the update contains security patches too. So the update is definitely worth trying. However, none of the carriers revealed the version of the security patch.

The update contains great improvements and new features. Most importantly it adjusts the boring user interface and menu positions. Overall, the Tab S2 devices get refreshed with this update. It brings popular features like split screen multitasking, quick app switching and plenty of Samsung-specific features.

The update package weighs around 1GB and please make sure that you have charged the phone for more than 50%. Always remember to make enough storage space for downloading the update files. Otherwise, it may cause issues while downloading the files. Download the latest update now by going to Settings > About device > Software updates > Check for update..
