Verizon pushes Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Verizon is currently giving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, after giving the same update for the Galaxy S5 yesterday. Update packs with every Marshmallow highlighted features including doze and all topped with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI.

Verizon also gives some updates for the in-built apps like e-mail clients with new features and performance including search bar and gallery with Animation creation options. Users are getting the Notification for updating to Marshmallow as follows :

This software update brings the latest Android™ Marshmallow OS and a fresh new look to the device along with new ways to express yourself in emails, pictures and memos.

The currently updating Software version is MMB29K.T817VVRU2BPE1 including many features and changes. As from the Changelog :

  • Now on Tap anticipates what you need in the moment. With a simple tap, you can get cards with useful information and apps that feed your need to know.
  • When your device is at rest, Doze automatically puts it into a sleep state, preserving your battery charge.
  • No need to give apps access all the time. Android Marshmallow lets you define what you want to share and when. Turn permissions off at any time, too.
  • The email toolbar now has a complete set of rich editing functions
  • Find your emails fast with the new sort function. View your inbox by All, From, To and by the Subject line.
  • Use your pictures to create animations and collages in Gallery. Unleash your creativity and share the fun with friends and family
  • The new Memo drawing feature helps your thoughts and memories come alive with pictures and illustrations.
