Sharp Aquos S3 leaked; reveals display-notch and dual-camera

Japanese display technology manufacturer and distributor SHARP also launches certain smartphones periodically, with prominent display technologies and design pattern. The company is owned by Foxconn, which assembles almost every smartphones including Apple iPhones. The Sharp has launched several smartphones in their Aquos lineup, which brought the first complete bezel-less smartphone, years before the Xiaomi Mi MIX. Later the company launched several other devices, succeeding the Sharp Aquos Crystal. Now, the company is spotted working on another smartphone, supposedly named as Sharp Aquos S3. The smartphone’s leaked images are now floating on the internet.

From the images, it is obvious that the company tried copying the Apple iPhone X design in almost every design aspects and it seems successful to an extent. The smartphone has a display with a display notch on the top, resemlesApple’s iPhone X. The side and surrounding bezels are narrow, but not too narrow. The front display panel is engraved with the brand name at the bottom bezel.

Concerning the rear panel, the device shows off the dual-camera sensors mounted vertically at the top left corner.the glass back panel with curved edges makes it a perfect match for the iPhone X, but a little lopsided. The fingerprint scanner is fixed at the middle, moulded with a golden ring around it. The rear camera functions as a 2x Optical Zoom camera, with software boosted portrait mode.

The Sharp Aquos S3 is expected to carry a 5.99-inch display, powered with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 coupled with 6GB of RAM. The mid-range smartphone is expected to hit the markets by the end of February.
