Samsung Galaxy S10 to come in 4 variants with a 5G model

Samsung is currently working on their 2019 flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S10, and S10+ smartphones as we expect. Even though the Korean manufacturer has not revealed any information regarding the devices, many leaks circulated lately had shown us some of the explicit features it would carry. Recently, a few developers from XDA-Developers consortium found something interesting about the forthcoming flagship smartphones in the Galaxy S10 series.

The information regarding the forthcoming devices has found through the Android 9 Pie update for Galaxy S9+. As per the developers, the latest update rollout comprises the model name for the coming devices – “Beyond.” As far as we know, the Samsung Galaxy S10 devices are codenamed “beyond” within the company. The code contains the device codenames “beyond 0,” “beyond 1”, “beyond 2”, and “beyond 2 5G.” We can assume the standard three variants. But, the first three with the 5G annotation seems to be the company’s first step towards making 5G chip embedded smartphones. Many brands are currently working on to bring the 5G enabled devices So, the Samsung is neither late nor too early to bring the next generation networking capability on their smartphones.

Only the fourth variant would be enabled with 5G capability. All other three (?) variants must have at most 4G support. Therefore, the company will then urge their users to purchase the most top variant with 5G support at a higher price tag than other alternative variants.
