Pixel 2 XL to feature Stereo Speakers, Always Listening “Music Recognition”

As we already have reported, Google is getting ready to launch the forthcoming powerful premium devices in Pixel series, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, on October 4th. Many of the leaked render and information have enlighted us that the devices would lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, and be featured with several more features.

Now, a XDA-Developers have reported that the Google is working on with the second generation Pixel series, adding many new features including Stereo speakers on the front, always on “Music Recognition”, etc. Even though the Google is expected to add a pair of stereo speakers on the front panel, we are currently not sure about the bezel-less 18:9 ratio display panel, as the speaker grills require a little more space to occupy o front panel. Additionally, the smartphone will have an always-listening “Music Recognition” feature on software, which is even not included along with the Google Assistant. The Music Recognition is anticipated to work as a standalone add-on, embedded with the Operating System of the smartphone – even from the lock screen automatically.

Plus, we would be able to see a new portrait mode in  Google Pixel 2 XL smartphone, as per the new feature thread found on Google Camera app. It could produce much sharper portrait images with bokeh effects. Also, the new Pixel launcher would sport a search bar on the bottom portion of the home page, instead of the top-notch dock on top in the old Pixel launcher.

As well have been expecting, the Pixel 2 XL smartphone will have a Squeezable frame, from HTC which could trigger Google Assistant in force. An Always-On Ambient Diaply mode also has been reported by XDA, which would turn itself into a fiasco by unnecessary power consumption.
