Meizu M6s comes with side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 18:9 display

Chinese manufacturer Meizu has just announced their latest mid-range smartphone in China named Meizu M6s. The device comes with a metal framed body, with a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side frame panel. This is entirely different from the Sony’s power button mounted fingerprint scanner instead, it acquires additional space on the side to attach the fingerprint scanner alongside the power button and the volume rockers on the opposite frame. The fingerprint scanner is so fast that it could unlock the device in 0.2 seconds.
