Honor 7X Receives Android Oreo update and a price cut in India

Honor 7X was one of the most selling devices by the Honor sub-brand of Huawei. The device has attracted a great customer base because of the excellence of its predecessor Honor 6X. However, the company is still following their promises. Honor today rolled out the latest Android 8.0 update alongside EMUI 8.0 for Honor 7X for the Indian customers.

With the update, users will get many new features like Face Unlock, Game suite, Ride Mode, AR Lens etc. making it one of the best smartphones available in the mid-range segment. The brand also announced new price points for the two variants of the smartphone – INR 11,999 and 14,999 for 32 GB/ 64 GB variant.

The smartphone with eye-catching aesthetics and high-performance is available from 25 June 2018 onwards exclusively on Amazon.in. EMI and Exchange Offer is also available for Honor 7X on Amazon.

Concerning the Hardware properties of the Honor 7X, the smartphone comes with a 5.93-inch IPS LCD Display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, with the same old width but an elongated height to top. However, there are some visible bezels on the sies, so deploying the device with 18:9 display actually did not make any mean regarding bezels.

The display has a FHD+ resolution ( 1080 x 2160px), with a 2.5D glass on top. The smartphone is powered with Huawei’s HiSilicon Octa-Core Kirin 659 SoC, which also powers recently launched Honor 9i mid-ranger The device comes mainly in three different variants- 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB, whereas the RAM for three of the variants is fixed at 4 gigabytes.
