Google’s Material Design Awards 2017 go to these Apps

Materialistic designs have been merged to the designing world a little while ago, which literally did end the era of realistic 3D designing and UI architectures. The Material design is just peaceful to watch and easy to create by any designer using simple tools.

As the Material designs acquired the position of conventional design ideas, the Google itself had begun a project mission regarding the Material Design (material.io). Each year, Google elects few of the best apps from play store, constructed upon the material design and to be awarded by the Google Design. As usual, Google has announced the Material Design Awards 2017, for apps which hold the best material design in each segment. Mainly, the awards have been announced in four different designing aspects: Brand Expressiveness, Interaction Design, Platform Adaptiveness, and Innovation. Here is a quick glance at the award winning apps.

Brand Expressiveness: Blinkist

Blinkist

Blinkist is a reader app available from play store. The app sports lots of nonfiction books, dedicated to the bibliophiles around the globe. It does not actually have the complete edition of a specific book, yet it features a 15 minutes skimmed version of best-selling 2000+ non-fiction books, which you can read to under stand the mainstay. The Google Design has mentioned the app regarding a great font, appropiriate, and content awareness icons and brand expressions at its best.

Eventbrite Organizer

Eventbrite Organizer is an amazing app that helps you to organize an event, large or small, by organizing everything perfectly without messing up everything. Even the users (i.e., event organizers) can analyze the plans, real-time ticket selling, etc. According to Google, the app has every control and task managers placed interactively and deftly.

NPR One

 Using NPR One app on Android devices, you can now listen to the major headlines, stories, shows, podcasts, etc. According to the developers, “It’s public radio made personal.” The app has been awarded Best platform Adaptiveness honor as it has everything organized well, easier to access, listen and find the content you want.

momondo

Momondo is a travel app which provides every flight tickets at cheaper rates, with many discounts and promotions. Users can compare cheap flight tickets. In terms of design, the app has many ways of animations and hovering effects added. All of the elements look material and the users will be drawn into more inside the app due to its material-dynamic animative charcter.
