Google to release an update for the Pixel and Pixel XL devices to resolve the Lens Flare Camera Issue

Google launched their own smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL before one month. During the launch announcement, Google claimed that the most highlighting thing in the Pixel and Pixel XL devices is the camera modules. It was true as the camera part of the Pixel, and Pixel XL devices were quite fantastic. But so many users reported some issues related to the camera of those devices. Some users are facing lens flare issue in the camera of Pixel and Pixel XL models.

Since the camera is the highlighting part, Google wants to fix it as soon as possible. So they have officially confirmed about a new upcoming update to fix this issue. A Google representative has announced some information about the upcoming update for this issue in their forum.

He says:

” You can expect a software update in the next few weeks that will improve the effects of this issue. We’re working on some algorithms that recognize the halo/arc flare, characterize it mathematically, and then subtract it from the image.  🙂  You will need to use HDR+ to see the benefits of this software. ”

At the same time, he says about the replacement of the devices. Some users have shown interest in the replacement and return of the Pixel models. So he says there is no  point getting your device replaced thanks to this issue. The Pixel camera’s lens structure is very highly controlled; this means that all Pixels take high-quality images, but it also means all Pixels have the same flare characteristics.

So if you already owned a Pixel device, stay calm and wait for your update.
