Google App gains a major update with Some new in-app features

Google’s voice and search platform Google App with Google Now have been got rolled out an update with some extra awesome features for Android users. The Google Now cards are very helpful in showing latest news, reminders, alarms, and also even online shopping package trackers. The new update have been rolled out with new features last day, updated to v5.12.34.21.arm64, completely supports ARM 64-Bit Chipset powered smartphone with much more improved performance.

The new update for Google App have improved search and result page UI, with material and catchy design. Google have designed new doodles for improving in-app experiences. Interestingly, the remaining three features added newly, will blast your mind, if you are a hardcore consumer of Google smart searches. Google Now currently supports Offline Voice Commands, which was lacked in previous versions. The voice commands supported while offline are limited to phone actions except searching. You can command it to play music and movies, turn on/off Wi-Fi, turn on flashlight, Call a contact, Send an email, etc. from the Google App. Another interested thing is that the Google App have a Chrome powered Web-Page opener. Until the last version, you had to open webpages in third party or external browsers from search results. Now onwards, the webpages can be opened inside the Google App directly, also there is an option to reopen the site in external browsers. The fragmented cards are now grouped into sections. You will receive cards notifications as grouped, for example if you have shown interest in ‘Android’, it will show up all the contents under a section; means no more strains on scrolling over cards to find which one you want.

Along withe Google Search app, the Google Talkback App also gains an update with some UI and performance improvements, with support for headlines, links and even for form fields. Yesterday, Google have already updated the Chrome Beta, gaining some updates with material design on bookmark widget. Ahead of the Google I/O, which will hold on Next months, Google will roll out more updates for other apps, and we will get them soon.
