Google is Dropping Support for Physical Google Wallet on June 30

Google has confirmed that they are Dropping Support for Physical Google Wallet on June 30th. Purchases can be made with the card through 30th of june. Google will stop the customers of Google wallet to add more wallet balance on May 1st.

For those who are unfamiliar with the physical Google Wallet card which was launched in 2014 and Google make us able to link it with Google Wallet Account Balance. The reason for dropping the Support is Google is going to focus more on Android Pay. For More Queries, Check Google Wallet Website.

From Google:

  • You can only make purchases with your Wallet Card until June 30.
  • You won’t be able to add money to your Wallet Balance from a debit card or bank account after May 1, but money you receive from others will still be added to your balance.
  • If you have money in your Wallet Balance after May 1, you can keep it there, send it to others, or cash out anytime for free.
