HMD global, Nokia’s new home is very active in designing and releasing new smartphones under Nokia’s name. We have been reading so many news reports and leaks about the upcoming Nokia 8. To fuel up the rumor mill, Nokia official website also leaked the images of the Nokia 8 smartphone. But now, Surprisingly, a new budget friendly Nokia Android smartphone has been leaked online.
The newly leaked phone shows the new budget Android smartphone Nokia 2. The new leak comes from China and it compares the Nokia 2 with the Nokia 3. The new Nokia 2 looks more like the old Lumia series and has very rounded corners. It is very similar to the Lumia 620 model. The leaked picture first appeared on a Chinese website Baidu and it doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device. Baidu listing purportedly says that it is the upcoming Nokia 2. Based on the hints, it will be priced below the Nokia 3. If it is true, Nokia 2 would be the cheapest Android smartphone ever built by HMD Global.
In addition to the pictures, the Baidu listing reveals the processor of the phone. According to Baidu listing, the new Nokia 2 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset. Since the Snapdragon 210 is a cheap budget oriented chipset, the Nokia 2 will be a budget oriented smartphone. We don’t have any information about the availability or launch of the device.
