ASUS launches Zenfone Lite L1 and Max M1 in India

ASUS India makes the debut of its two entry-level smartphones in Zenfone series, along with their global debut. The new ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 and the Zenfone Max M1 are the two new smartphones that come to the second largest smartphone market. The company announces both the smartphone for entry-level users and it comes in the segment below par, compared to the Zenfone Max Pro M1. The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 by the Taiwanese giant has become a massive hit in India from past months, this also gives the company a strength to launch more devices.

Both the ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 and Max M1 smartphones share similar hardware specifications, but with different names and battery capacities. Here is a quick tour through the smartphones’ specs.

ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 Specifications, Price

ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 features a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 FullView display with a compact design in terms of physical dimensions. The new quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Chipset powers the smartphone, paired with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, supports SD Card up to 256GB. The main camera department of the smartphone is of a single 13MP sensor unit along with a 5MP front-facing camera sensor.

Zenfone Lite L1 by ASUS also carries a 3,000mAh battery pack with a 5W travel charger. The dimensions of the smartphone are 147.26 x 71.77 x 8.15mm. On the connectivity side, the smartphone provides a dual-SIM VoLTE support and other basic sensors. The smartphone uses face unlocking, instead of a fingerprint scanner.  The smartphone is available in Metallic Black and Gold color options, starting at an introductory price of INR 5,999.

ASUS Zenfone Max M1 Specifications, Price

ASUS Zenfone Max M1 is almost similar to the Lite L1 in terms of hardware specs, however, this one’s price tag is more than L1. The smartphone comes as the younger version to the Zenfone Max Pro M1 midrange smartphone launched in India months ago. The device is packed with a metallic finish body panel, sporting a 5.45-inch HD+ display, with a 2.5D glass protection on the top layer. Under the hood, the Max M1 also uses the Snapdragon 430 SOC, but with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone also boasts a larger battery pack of 4,000mAh and a faster 10W charger adapter support.

The dual-SIM smartphone also has a dedicated slot for the SD Card and supports 4G VoLTE. The rear camera consists of dual 13MP+5MP sensors and an 8MP selfie snapper. There is also a physical fingerprint scanner at the rear. The smartphone is available from Amazon India at Rs. 7,499.
