WebVR coming to Chrome for Android : You will be able to see all webpages in VR

Here we have a good and interesting news for our readers who are interested in VR (Virtual reality). As you already know, VR kits are really common thing nowadays. Every pro users are enjoying their virtual reality world with the help of VR gadgets. But it was limited to Videos, movies etc. But now, Google fuels up the VR world by adding WebVR support to Chrome internal beta versions. That means, you will soon be able to use or browse web pages in VR.

The Chromium team is working on several features to bring the web to VR. They’ve recently added an experimental flag at chrome://flags/#enable-vr-shell to enable a browser shell for VR. This allows users to browse the web while using Cardboard or Daydream-ready viewers.

They’ve also been working towards WebVR support in Chromium and launched VR view² to help web developers embed VR content in their web pages. The team is just getting started on making the web work well for VR so stay tuned, there’s more to come!
