This Moto Mod can turn your smartphone into a walkie-talkie

Lenovo had introduced the Moto Mods with Moto Z family smartphones, having unlimited possibilities by altering the device with just a case-looking mod. Back in November 2016, Lenovo announced a contest on Moto Mod so that anyone could develop their own Moto Mods for Moto Z smartphones, from individuals to startups and can publish it on Indiegogo.

A new Indiegogo project popped up recently shows a special Moto Mod which can turn your Moto Z smartphone into an entirely functioning Walkie-Talkies. The product is named as Linc, which really looks like a typical walkie-talkie. The Linc can connect with other walkie talkies or Linc Moto Mods within five miles range, and supports 22 Channels. It can even send SMS, sharing GPS locations and SOS button for alerting. two-way radios in the Mod can help you to connect via the radio-over-IP gateway.

The Linc Moto Mod is very helpful in areas where network carrier coverage doesn’t get and can be used easily by connecting it with the Moto dev9ce via Bluetooth. Linc says this Moto Mod also works with any Bluetooth enabled device. The Linc has a 1500mAh battery, which can last up to  20 hours of usage. The crowdfunded project is currently available to pre-order on Indiegogo for $99.
