Google to add Adblocker to the Google Chrome Browser by early-2018

Some rumours popped up a couple of months ago suggested that the Google is working on a new Adblocker feature that is supposed to be added with Google Chrome browser. Now, the Google has officially confirmed its mission to bring Adblocker to the Chrome browser very soon, which would work almost similar to the Adblocker Plus extension available in market now.

According to Google, from there official blog :
We believe online ads should be better. That’s why we joined the Coalition for Better Ads, an industry group dedicated to improving online ads. The group’s recently announced Better Ads Standards provide clear, public, data-driven guidance for how the industry can improve ads for consumers, and today I’d like to share how we plan to support it.”

The upcoming Adblocker feature would block the ads from Google itself, that is the AdSense ads on the sites that don’t meet the comprehensive criteria set by Google will be blocked. So no more pop-ups and irrelevant ad banners. This move by Google is very crucial in terms of web world, as the 60% of the total client traffic around the world are being generated through the Google Chrome browser.

As a part of this, Google has launched a new tool named Ad Experience Report, that helps ad publishers to understand their site’s status in Better Ads Standards. The Adblocker feature on the Google Chrome Browser will be added with any of the updates releasing on early-2018.

Also an another tool named Funding Choices lets the publishers to show a message on their website while users use Adblockers that if the user want to browser more, unblock the site from Adblocker or subscribe for a special amount for hiding all the ads, that is very beneficial for the publisher and a reasoning payment for his works.
