Facebook introduces ‘Community Help’ within the Safety Check

World’s largest social networking site Facebook is now being more than a social platform. It entirely changes the view that people used to see the Social Networking platforms before. Facebook’s Safety Check launched back in 2014 was a very helpful feature in Facebook, which makes sure that every people in a location where some sort of accidents or incident occurs are safe. The feature has been warmly welcomed by every Facebook users and it helped many people to make sure that everyone’s beloved ones are safe in the zone.

Now, the facebook has made an additional feature to the Safety Check option. The new feature is named as Community Help and it works within the safety check. So far with 6he safety check option, facebook gave an option to the person in the nearby region of incident place as mark themselves safe and make sure that others are safe and report if not. Now the Community Help option provides the features like:

  • If an incident is a natural or accidental disaster, people will now see Community Help. They can find or give help, and message others directly to connect from within Safety Check after a crisis.
  • Posts can be viewed by category and location, making it easier for people to find the help they need.

Facebook offers the service of Safety Check and Community Help every disaster and accidental incidents, which are recognized by global; crisis reporting agencies and are discussed by more number of users. The service is initially made available in the countries  US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and Saudi Arabia. This will soon be extended to other countries very sooner after the first performance evaluation and making improvements.
