OnePlus releases OxygenOS 3.6.0 With June Android Security Update for the OnePlus 2 devices

OnePlus on Monday rolled out a new update to the OnePlus 2 devices. The new update is now rolling out to the OnePlus 2 devices globally. Fortunately, the update contains June Android security patches as well. OnePlus has confirmed the release of OxygenOS 3.6.0 for the OnePlus 2 devices.

The new update is now available as OTA and you can download it right now. Here are the changes for this build:

New:

  • Updated Android security patch level to 1st June 2017
  • Updated timezone to GMT+3 in Turkey

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed VoLTE related issues in India
  • Fixed device not being able to automatically register on 4G networks

As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days. Also, make sure you have at least 50% of charge left in your battery. Please free up at least 1GB before updating the new software version.
