Weekly Roundup: Highlights of Week 37

Last week was very exciting for both us and our readers. For us, it was a big week which we have passed through one of the greatest moments we ever had in AndroidHits. We successfully have reached Hundred Thousand (100,000) followers on Facebook (Like Our Page). It may not look big to you, but it was one of the biggest proud moments for us. Once again, we thank you all for the support and co-operation so far, also expecting the same throughout our entire journey. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Launched In China 

Xiaomi has finally launched the successor in company’s innovative bezel-less smartphone lineup last week in China. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 comes with almost completely bezel-less design, same as the predecessor. The Mi MIX 2 is powered with Qualcomm  Snapdragon 835 chipset, features a 5.99-inch FullHD bezel-less display having the ratio of 18:9. The device has 6 gigs of RAM onboard, sporting 12MP rear-facing camera sensor. Apart from the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, the Xiaomi Mi MXI 2 has a face recognition feature.

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Goes Official In China

Alongside the bezel-less flagship Mi MIX 2, Xiaomi China has also launched the premium mid-range smartphone Mi Note 3 in the country. the smartphone has a 5.5 inch Full HD display with narrow bezels on sides. The device houses Snapdragon 660 Chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM under the hood. The rear-facing camera combines 12MP sensors, one with 4-axis Image Stabilisation and other of telephoto zooming.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launched in India at 67,900 INR

Samsung India has unveiled the company’s latest flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 8 in the country, pricing starts from INR 67,900. The smartphone was launched globally back in late-AUgust, coming with a humongous display of 6.3 inches. The device is powered with SD835 SOC, with 6GB RAM paired. The device has a dual camera on the rear with dual OIS.

Entry-level Oppo A71 Unveiled In India 

Chinese manufacturer Oppo’s new entry-level smartphone in A series has been launched in India last week, with 5.2 inch HD display and MTK6750 under the hood. The device has a 3GB of RAM, with 16GB. As an entry-level, the smartphone lacks fingerprint scanner and many other features. The devoice’s price tag starts from 12,990 INR.

First OTA Update for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 started rolling out

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 last week has started getting the first OTA update worldwide. The update brings stability improvements to the primary camera department, weighs around 500+ MB.

ASUS Launches ZenFone 4 Selfie Series In India

ASUS Zenfone 4 series has gotten unveiled in the country last week, with three variants in total. ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie has one normal variant, along with a dual selfie camera version. The latter variant is ASUS Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro with 24MP DUoPixel selfie snapper on the front. Here are the major hardware specifications of Zenfone 4 Selfie and Pro.

Games of the Week

Ludo Game

Ludo (aka Parchis) is a board game like Chess or Snake& Ladder played in India long ago. This is the first time this classic game is being ported into a digital form, which is able to play in Android smartphones. The gameplay is much clasc, and needs a combination of logic and tricky mind to get through.
