Many of the Moto devices are awaiting the latest Android operating system Nougat. Some of them already received the update while other are still waiting for the Android 7.0. But here we have a good news for you. Motorola’s India Twitter page confirmed that they will soon roll out the update to the Moto X Play devices.
In a reply to a tweet of Moto X Play user, Moto India confirmed that they would soon release the Android Nougat update for the Moto X Play devices. The update is already available for the Moto X-Force devices, soon it will be available for X-Play devices too. However, the company didn’t reveal any specific release date of the update. So they must be testing the builds internally to make sure it is bug-free.
Nougat will come to the Moto X Play soon, however, we are unable to provide a definite release date. -JM

Still, we won’t have any clue about the version number of the upcoming update. They didn’t reveal which version of the Android Nougat would be available for the above-said device models. It could be Android 7.0 or 7.1.1. Talking about the device, it was first launched in the country in 2015 and costs Rs. 18,499.
